What Makes a Great Digital Experience?

The term “digital experience” can seem like just a buzzword, until you actually … um … experience it. And, in order to be successful, providing a good digital experience for your users is a necessity. Users demand that their digital experiences be beautiful, seamless and useful.

Digital experiences are driven by seamlessness, a concept that comes alive every time we start streaming a TV show on our smartphone and resume it later on a laptop; or when we pause a Spotify playlist and pick it up on the car dashboard; or when your customers add items to their shopping cart on the phone and finish the transaction on a tablet.

These little cross-device journeys are now daily events for most of us. As a matter of fact, according to Criteo’s State of Mobile Commerce, 4 out of 10 transactions take place on multiple devices. Consumers don’t, of course, realize we’re having a digital experience … as long as the journey is seamless. However, for website and app developers, selecting which tools to use to create a good digital experience can be difficult.
